The Good Samaritan Mission
To extend a helping hand in time of need to the community by providing assistance with food and clothing.
Good Samaritan, Inc. is a 501c (3) non-profit founded on November 22, 2014 by Tommie and Valencia Bailey. The founders saw a growing need for food and clothing for children, women, men and families so they decided to do something about it. Good Samaritan provides clothes and food to the less fortunate in Orange County, Virginia and surrounding counties and has an office which also houses a food pantry and a clothes closet.
In 2024, Good Samaritan fed over 7,000 people and provided a winter clothing drive and a Christmas Toy Drive so every child could celebrate Christmas!

Our Clothes closets serve individuals and families facing financial hardship, homelessness, or other difficult situations. By donating clothing, you directly help them access the basics they need to feel comfortable, dignified, and prepared for daily life.
